A natural
gas engine cogeneration system has been introduced. All exhaust
heat is recovered as hot water and used as a heat source for
heating and cooling the factory. |

Inverter control has been introduced
into the water cooling system for production facilities that
run 24 hours. |

Incinerators have been done
away with. All divisions gather, separate and weigh garbage
with the aim of recycling it. |

The garbage truck and the two
employee transport buses at the Head Factory now run on natural
gas. Facilities for refilling them with natural gas have been
installed at the Head Factory. |

Two small (golf cart type)
electric vehicles, which emit no exhaust fumes, have been introduced
at the head office for travelling within the company grounds. |

Environmental education of employees, to raise awareness and increase understanding of environmental problems, is conducted for all employees at all levels. |
