Basic Policy
Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) is aware of its social responsibility to properly protect the personal information of its customers and business partners (the “Customers”) and employees obtained and used in the course of its business activities including R&D, manufacturing, sales and services regarding photo processing equipment, etc., which are positioned as its core business in accordance with its management philosophy “Customer-First Development and Management”. The Company shall endeavor to handle all personal information in an accurate and appropriate manner by complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding personal information protection

Action Guidelines

1. 1. Collection, usage and provision of personal information
   In collecting personal information, the Company shall expressly clarify the purpose of such collection to its Customers and employees and apply legitimate and fair methods to the extent necessary to achieve such purpose. In using such personal information, the Company shall limit its use within the scope of the purposes agreed upon in advance. When the Company needs to provide or entrust personal information to any third parties to achieve the said purpose, the Company shall take necessary measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

1. 2. Implementation of safety measures
   To ensure the accuracy and security of personal information, the Company shall establish an independent management system, develop internal policies, educate employees, implement physical and technical safety measures, and endeavor to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and loss, destruction, alteration and leakage of personal information.

1. 3. Compliance with laws and the Code of Conduct
   To assure personal information protection, the Company shall comply with personal information related laws and regulations, ministerial guidelines and the Company’s Code of Conduct.

1. 4. Respect for the rights of Customers and employees
   The Company shall respect the rights of Customers and employees. When a customer or employee requests the Company to disclose, correct or delete his/her own personal information, or to refuse usage or provision of such information, the Company shall appropriately respond to such requests in accordance with the prescribed rules.

1. 5. Display of this basic policy regarding personal information protection
   The Company shall display this basic policy on its Internet website, company brochures, etc. so that it can be readily viewed at all times.
