|
State-of-the-Art Laser Engine
| The QSS-32 series minilabs
are equipped with a laser engine that employs Noritsu Koki's
multi-paper-matching technology to make high-quality prints
of 300dpi on both digital paper and conventional photographic
paper. |
|
|
|
Jumbo
Panorama Prints
(New Maximum Advance Length of 36 Inches)
| These minilabs
boast a new maximum print size of 305x914mm (12x36 inches),
which can be used for POP displays and group photos, etc. This
new print service will give you an edge over the competition,
as the print size is twice as long as the conventional maximum
print size of 305x457mm (12x18 inches). |
|
|
|
Triple Magazine System
(Factory Option)
| The standard dual magazine
system enables you to improve efficiency by setting different
paper sizes at the same time, and the optional triple magazine
system further increases the variety of print sizes that can
be made without changing magazines. |
|
|
|
High Quality Scanner
(LED Light Source)
|
The QSS-32 series
film scanner has an LED light source, which requires minimal
maintenance and provides consistent scanning of a wide variety
of film types and formats.
|
|
|
|
Easy Operation
| These minilabs have the
same GUI as other QSS digital minilabs, making operation easy
for QSS users as well as beginners. All you have to do is click
the appropriate icons on the screen. |
|
|
|
Same High Capacity From Both Film and Media
| The wide range of minilabs
in the QSS-32 series provides three different capacities to
choose from. The QSS-3203Digital and QSS-3213Digital, for example,
have a processing capacity of 1,620 prints per hour (Film /
Media). One attractive characteristic of the QSS-32 series minilabs
is that the same high capacity can be achieved from both film
and digital media.
|
|
|
Image Correction Improvements
| Many of the original digital correction features
that have been available with previous QSS minilabs have been
improved upon, and several new high-precision correction features
have been added to assure high quality prints, including the
following. |
| |
Digital Masking Software (Option): Corrects
dust and scratches on the emulsion layer of film, which cannot
be corrected by DIGITAL ICE. (DIGITAL ICE is a standard feature!) |
| |
Correction of Insufficient Brightness on the
Edge of the Image Field: Corrects images in which the area
around the subject is too dark, which is a common occurrence
in flash photography. |
| |
JPEG Block Correction |
| |
Lens Aberration Correction |
| |
Chromatic Aberration Correction |
| |
Graininess Correction for Underexposed Images
|
|
| The QSS-32 series minilabs can be networked to lab computers,
equipment and software to enhance the workflow and provide more digital
services. Below is a list of some of the digital services that can
be provided and the options that make these services possible. |
| Digital Prints |
The CT-2MD/CT-BOX
is a self-service customer terminal / photo kiosk that can be connected
to QSS-32 series minilabs to provide an efficient way of taking orders
from digital media. Requires minimal investment and minimal space. |
| CD-R Writing |
Noritsu provides several options for CD-R writing. In
addition to writing with the internal drive and writing with the CD-R
drive in an external computer, it is also possible to connect to a
Rimage or Primera CD-R writer to enable automatic writing
and thumbnail image printing on the face of the CD. |
| Image Storage |
The CAU
(Compact Archive Unit) is an internal archive unit that enables
quick and easy reprints without rescanning. Excellent print quality
due to the fact that the image data is not compressed. d-Storage
(software) enables images input with a QSS-32 series minilab or a
networked terminal such as CT-2MD to be quickly stored in an external
computer as JPEG files. Images saved with d-Storage can also be used
for image editing, as well as reprints. |
| Additional Value Prints |
The QSS
Printer Driver is software that enables you to expand your
printing possibilities by making silver halide prints from application
software. Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh. Template
Creation Software provides an array of template designs that can
be combined with images to increase the value of your customers' photos.
|
| Image Editing |
You can install QSS-Kids software
in computers networked to a QSS-32 minilab, and from these computers
perform the same operations, in the same way, as those that are performed
with this minilab. While viewing the QSS graphic user interface on
the networked computer, you can accept media inputs, and perform media
writing, image editing, etc. |
