Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) refers to the ability of an electrical or electronic device or system to function satisfactorily in its electromagnetic environment without introducing intolerable electromagnetic interference (EMI) to anything in that environment. The EMC Center is an on-site testing center that encourages the rapid development of effective, cost-efficient EMC countermeasures, thereby enabling products to reach the marketplace as early as possible.
