Tourist Information
La Bourgogne (the historic province of Burgundy), about
1 hour 40 minutes from Paris by TGV, is a region that
is famous throughout the world for its food and drink
including Burgundy wine.
A number of famous wines are made from the broad expanse
of vineyards. The region is also famous for its escargots
and Charolais beef. The richness of the region's food
culture has earned it the nickname of the pantry of
